Liberty Weekend - Otaki
25th/26th April, Riverbank Equestrian, Otaki

This weekend will cover:

The prerequisites for successful Liberty.

The difference between connection and draw, and how to create both.

The four things to create draw
-
The three different ways horses leave and how to best deal with it for a positive outcome
-
How to get your horse seeking to be with you.
-
An approach you can implement at home, even without a round corral.
Two groups.
Group 1 is for those that are new to Liberty but have done a Stage 1 clinic with us.
Group 2 is for those who have studied Liberty with us before
Morning tutorial and Q&A plus 3 hours of tuition with your horse each day and three hours of spectating the other group.
You will have two instructors; Russell Higgins & Ruth Carlyle

Cattle & Trail Camp, Inglewood, Taranaki 4th - 8th February 2027
What better way to spend the Waitangi Weekend than riding on a beautiful working cattle station? This venue is owned by a student of ours and they are opening their doors to us plus eight riders to ride for five days. There are safe tracks, a cool swimming dam, lots of cattle to play with and even a Cowboy Challenge course. Lunches and dinners wil be provided and we'll even be heading into town for a country music night at the local pub. This is still a horsemanship camp so there will be lots of tuition along the trail. You must already by trail riding the horse that you bring and it is not for green horses or unconfident riders.
$1290 (including camping, horse board, lunches and dinners)

Foundation series - North Canterbury
Based at the Nooramunga Ranch in North Canterbury this two clinic foundation series starts with our Stage 1 Essential Ground skills and is followed by our Stage 2 Control & Confidence in the Saddle.
15th & 16th August - Horsemanship clinic, Stage 1
12th & 13th September - Horsemanship clinic, Stage 2

10th & 11th October - Liberty Series, 1st module
21st &22nd November - Liberty, 2nd Module
16th & 17th January 2027, 3rd Module
